Required qualifications

  • A copy of your most significant academic certificate/degree. This is a Trinity College stipulation that proof of qualifications is rigorously checked.

  • Trinity Cert TESOL or Cambridge CELTA is desirable but not essential.

  • A minimum English language proficiency of CEFR level C1 or above.

To successfully apply and participate you must be at least 18 years old, have at least two years of teaching experience (or equivalent), and are looking to gain the professional expertise and knowledge required for more senior positions in the EFL/ESOL industry.

A: All our TESOL courses are conducted entirely online which means you can study from anywhere around the world.

Q: Will I receive a certificate upon completion of the course?

Q: What is the course eligibility for CertTESOL?

A: Observed teaching is done online via Zoom classrooms.

A: Our TESOL courses are accredited by Trinity College London. Trinity College London is an independent awarding body and examinations board and has been providing assessments and qualifications around the world since 1877. As part of Oxford International, we work with them to ensure that receive high-quality and accredited teacher training. Trinity College also moderates all our courses to ensure academic quality.

Q: Is the total amounts payable or are there any more charges for instance registration charges, moderation charges, etc?

A: We offer an instalments plan for CertTESOL Part-time and DipTESOL however for CertTESOL Full-time you would be asked to pay a single full payment.

Q: What are the course timings?

A: DipTESOL course is a blended course; the main component is largely asynchronous. The assessment schedules, including teaching practice, depend on the final number of trainees participating but are always announced well in advance.

Q: What does your syllabus include about teaching phonetics and pronunciation?

A: Both CertTESOL and DipTESOL include input on phonology, this covers theory (you will about stress, intonation, features of connected speeches, etc) as well as how to practically incorporate these in your teaching. 

Q: Is there a fixed timetable that will help in planning my schedule? Do you also have a part-time alternative?

A: Our timetable may vary depending on the size of the cohort but you can certainly reach out to us and we will provide you as much information as possible.

Q: Does the course apply to ESL students as well?

A: This course is for all proficient users of English who are interested in teaching English as a second language.

Q: Will I be able to access the full content of the course anytime from where I am?

A: Yes, our courses are fully online.
