I have worked for Oxford International for 18 years and done a variety of roles from Director of Studies, Course Director for the Trinity Cert TESOL, Tutor on the Trinity Diploma and ELLT examiner. I have enjoyed being in a growing company and appreciate having new opportunities because of this culture. In 2020 I helped move the Trinity Cert TESOL online. This has been lots of fun and highly successful. It makes a lot of sense in our industry nowadays to be logging in and training people all over the world including Indonesia, Burundi, Pakistan, Macau, Iran to name but a few.

My professional interests lie in mediation skills across languages, gender in education, and the debate surrounding native-speakerism.

English Language Requirements

1. In order to apply, you need the skills required to fluently and accurately communicate in spoken and written English. If English is not your first language, we require an IELTS score of 7.0 (or equivalent) in each of the four skills. If English is your first language, you need to have a GCSE in English (grade C minimum) or equivalent.
Academic Requirements

1. A copy of your most significant academic certificate as proof of qualifications are rigorously checked.
2. You also need to be able to cope with the academic requirements of the course. This may mean having a university degree, or the academic qualifications that would enable you to be accepted to a degree course.
